I'm a writer for a new magazine that is aimed at LGBT women aged 30+. I'm currently writing a piece about non bio mums and I'm looking for people to share their experiences. If this is something you'd be interested in I'd love to hear how your views on being Mama, not Mummy and your family. You can contact me at lauren-peel@hotmail.com.
Just browsing through your blog and there is so much that sounded like my own voice.
We have an amazing 21 month old son. Nothing could have prepared me for how much I love being a parent, nor how emotional the early days were going to be. I think there is something so unique about being the 'other mother' it is hard to describe and have others understand. You are doing a great job!
Hi, thanks so much for your really positive feedback. I have been pleasantly surprised by the number of people who have found this blog helpful. Ultimately it is my own personal journey, but it's good to know that I am not alone.
My name is Rebecca and I am currently in the process of making an 8 minute documentary as part of my dissertation regarding lesbian mums in the UK. I am a final year journalism student at Nottingham Trent University and felt really inspired after reading your blog. I would love to talk with you in more detail if you would be interested in sharing your story.
Best wishes, Rebecca Taylor - E:Mail: bexstaylor34@hotmail.com
